Together with TELL2C, we began with the construction of the poem together with Kamil. As the poem developed, Riham (our Producer) worked together with Basem (our editor) to craft a visual story made up of stock and archive footage that put an abstract yet powerful visual story to the words being spoken by Kamil.

This process was highly creative, fun, and challenging, to create a visual language for the inner workings of a young person’s mind. This project was the product of months of work and care from both Tell2C and Wtysl, with both crews digging into their archive footage to find just the write shots that could bring the audience along visually with the powerful words of Kamil.
