The Challenge
Build the UEF ‘s social media presence from the ground up, and establish UEF as a leader in community based sustainable energy solutions by showcasing their projects in Sierra Leone, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Nigeria, and Madagascar.

THE GOALS

Establish UEF as thought leaders: We did a deep dive into the forums where sustainable energy is discussed, innovated, and advanced. From niche podcasts to COP28, our goal is to get the UEF team into the most important conversations happening around sustainable energy.

Kickstart UEF’s freshly minted social media channels: Initial market research and competitor analysis led us to focus on LinkedIn, Instagram, and X (although we created accounts for FB and YouTube as well). Each platform has its own posting strategy. For LinkedIn, we are focusing on mapping and engaging with new potential government partners across Africa. Instagram is our platform for telling the human stories of the people implementing and benefiting from these localized energy solutions. X is where we establish UEF as a thought leader in the Sustainable Energy sector. Our goal for all three? Consistent, engaging, relevant, high value content.

UEF in the News: Our PR specialists in each country used their contacts to pitch UEF stories and team members to local, national, regional, and global news outlets.
