What Took You So Long Foundation

The What Took You So Long team will join the Association of Street Children for Development in Kinshasa (ASCD), DR Congo. This organization collaborates with UNESCO to relocate Kinshasa’s street children to a rehabilitation center on the city’s outskirts, thus saving homeless children from abuse. ASCD teaches agriculture, farming and aquaculture skills, enabling the children to generate funds for the rehabilitation center, which aims to be economically self-sufficient. This is an innovative social-entrepreneurial approach both empowers and enables street children to define their futures.
