The organization’s aim is to provide help and support to Kilimanjaro’s surrounding areas and its villages which are currently neglected by volunteers and international organizations. Schools, orphanages, hospitals and other projects based in big towns and cities have now had a steady flow of volunteers helping them for many years. Whilst it is great that these projects have improved, there remain hundreds of schools etc in other less popular areas with a much greater need for help. It is also the thinking of Pamoja Afrika that volunteers would rather be put to work on projects where they are really needed rather than being one of four English teachers in a single classroom which is now often the case.

Recognizing that Makanya community suffers disproportionately from poverty and HIV/AIDS. Pamoja Afrika places special emphasis on working with this community to create permanent social change.Women and Children are at the heart of Pamoja Afrika-our based efforts is to improve basic education, prevent the spread of HIV and educating locals on getting away from negative stigmas, increase access to clean water and sanitation, expand economic opportunity and protect natural resources. Pamoja also delivers emergency aid to victims of Drug abuse and natural disasters, and helps people rebuild their lives.

RE: APPEAL FOR FUNDING TO SUPPORT CHILDREN ORPHANED
BY HIV/AIDS

We are a charitable organization registered by the Kenyan Government with a mission to create a sound environment for the suffering and starving disadvantaged and vulnerable children and youth affected/infected by HIV/AIDS.
Crespo core philosophy is to support arrange of initiatives, innovative, interventions that respond to the broad needs of the orphaned children and youth and where the orphaned children and disadvantaged children have equal opportunity for growth, education, health care, balanced diet, clothing and shelter.
We support orphaned children and youth in areas of education, nutrition, home based care, health care, apprenticeship skill development through vocational training and working with the orphaned and vulnerable children and communities in the fight against the spread of HIV/AIDS and certain aspects of gender equality and empowerment so that they can achieve their potential and lead a meaningful lives an ingredients to poverty alleviation among the orphans.
The level of orphans and other vulnerable children desperation and hopelessness calls for a massive increase in response to their development needs that would provide opportunities for their economic advancement in the future thus our programmes intend to provide the orphans with proper atmosphere and desirable conditions to enable them develop socially, intellectually, morally, physically and economically. Our programme aims at providing them with opportunities to secure a sustainable livelihood.
Crespo seeks to join hands with other like minded donors and well wishers like you in providing a highly articulate and comprehensive service to these people in great need by carrying out the named programs whose very activities will bring about a lasting improvement in their lives for there is no growth without learning and there is no learning without participation in programs that are geared towards uplifting the standard of living of these people. the time has come to make these orphans and vulnerable children self sufficient and hence the need to start sharing the little we have with them.
