In Marrakesh, our first stop will be at 48 Derb Jdid Bab Doukala, that is, the Atfalouna Association!
Atfalouna employs 14 educators/administrators and 3 volunteers, houses and educates 48 orphans and teaches another 436 who otherwise live at home. They do this on an annual budget of only £52,000, including salaries, health care and educational costs. Once there, we will begin recording our journey in the classrooms of the organization and witness outreach programs to stabilize the lives of Morocco’s youngest homeless people.
